Michele Wucker is author of Lockout: Why America Keeps Getting Immigration Wrong When Our Prosperity Depends on Getting It Right and Why the Cocks Fight: Dominicans, Haitians, and the Struggle for Hispaniola. Wucker is co-director of the Immigrant Voting Project and Director of the Program on Citizenship & Security. She specializes in immigration and assimilation, transnational political processes, the politics of culture, Latin America and the Caribbean, and international finance and debt crisis. She is a graduate of Rice University and of Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. Columbia Political Review Meet & Greet and Article Pitches The Columbia Political Review's first meeting of the year will be this Monday night (September 18) at 8:30pm in Hamilton 602 . There will be pizza, and we would love to see you there. Both pitches for our October issue and board applications are due by e-mail on Tuesday (September 19) at midnight.
