1. The CPU Presents: Media That Matters Film Festival

Date: Monday, 10/10
Time: 7:30PM
Location: Miller Theater, 116th and Broadway

Description: The Media That Matters Film Festival (MTM) features 16
short films that address issues - among others - of sustainability,
justice, and civic engagement. Now in its fifth season, MTM is in
the midst of a year-long national tour.

The 16 featured films of MTM were culled from over 450 entries from
producers from all around the world. The event will feature a
screening of the 16 chosen films, to be followed by a Q&A session
with a number of directors and producers.

For more information about MTM and a description of its featured
shorts, please visit: http://www.mediathatmattersfest.org/mtm05/.

MTM is sponsored each year by Media Rights, a non-profit
organization that connects filmmakers, activists, educators and
youth through a variety of online and offline projects.

*The CPU is thankful for the support of the Center for Campus
Progress in hosting this event.*
