We are currently in the process of archiving videos from 2005-2006 on our website, so stay tuned! David Rees began his online political cartoon "Get Your War On" in October 2001. The profane satire about the war on terrorism now appears in every issue of Rolling Stone. David is also the author of "My New Fighting Technique is Unstoppable" and "My New Filing Technique is Unstoppable," which appears in The Guardian(UK). Rees has donated nearly $100,000 of the sales of "Get Your War On"and "Get Your War On II" to a crew of deminers in western Afghanistan. He has read at numerous festivals and institutions, including the HBO Comedy Festival, 215 Festival in Philadelphia, Texas Book Festival, Blue Metropolis Literary Festival, Harvard University, Princeton University, and Yale University. His comics have appeared in GQ Magazine, Middle East Report, JANE Magazine, Blender Magazine, Punk Planet Magazine, The New York Observer, Bizarre Magazine, New York Press, and the Chicago Reader. The Taiwanese American Students Association Presents: "Taiwanese Politics & Current Events" Date: TODAY, 03/28 Description: Professor Andrew Nathan will talk about current relationships between China-Taiwan and the US and what the future holds for Taiwanese Andrew J. Nathan is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at Columbia University. His teaching and research interests include Chinese politics and foreign policy, the comparative study of political participation and political culture, and human rights. Nathan was chair of the Advisory Committee of Human Rights Watch, Asia, 1995-2000, and continues to serve on this committee and on the board of Human Rights in China. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, the Association for Asian Studies, and the American Political Science Association.
