Primarily New Hampshire is the book and documentary by Meryl Levin
and Will Kanteres, who spent 12 months chronicling the New

the 2004 campaign season.
In addition to a brief discussion of the book and excerpts from the
documentary, there will also be a panel discussion about the role
of young people in grassroots politics.

Mr. Ferrer was Bronx Borough President for 14 years. After losing a

race, Mr. Ferrer became president of the Drum Major Institute, a
progressive think-tank founded in 1961 to support the work of
Martin Luther King, Jr. Mr. Ferrer began his political career upon
being elected to the City Council at the age of 23.
Recent polls have identified Mr. Ferrer as the leader among
Democratic mayoral candidates.
